I finished my studies at the School of Medicine, University of Zagreb in 2003. In the same year I began my specialization in internal medicine at the Specialist Hospital for Medical Rehabilitation Krapinske Toplice and the Clinic for Internal Medicine KBC Zagreb, where I finished my specialization in 2010. I obtained my post-graduate doctorate degree in 2011 from the School of Medicine, University of Zagreb, in the field of biomedicine and healthcare. I finished my specialization in cardiology in 2016 at the Specialist Hospital for Medical Rehabilitation Krapinske Toplice and the Clinic for Cardiovascular Medicine Magdalena, Krapinske Toplice.
During my professional work I have completed a ‘category one’ post-graduate course: Emergencies in Clinical Medicine, at KBC Zagreb (2008), ‘category one’ post-graduate course: Doppler UV diagnostics for vascular diseases, at KB Dubrava (2009), Ultrasound in primary, emergency, and intense care medicine – USLS BL1 provider, at KBC Zagreb (2013).
I received the title ‘doctor of science’ in 2016 with a dissertation titled Resistance to Acetylsalicylic Acid in Late Post-Surgery Periods Following a Surgical Myocardial Revascularization.
I started working as a physician-in-training at the Specialist Hospital for Medical Rehabilitation Krapinske Toplice, and continued working there as a specialist for internal medicine – Intense Care Unit.
I am currently working at the Specialist Hospital for Medical Rehabilitation Krapinske Toplice as a cardiology specialist.
I have been a member of the Croatian Medical Chamber since 2005, and the Croatian Physicians Association since 2009.
